Everything Quarter does, in the order it does it. If something here disagrees with the contract, the contract wins.
What it is
Quarter ($QTR) is a reward token on Robinhood Chain. It funds itself from the fee on its own trades and pays holders in leveraged Arcus positions every 15 minutes, in proportion to their balance. It is not an index and not a vault: nothing is pooled, nothing is locked, and the rewards are sent, not claimed.
Each position (pBTC3x, pHOOD3x, pBTC) is an Arcus perpetuals account tokenized as an ERC-20. Holding one gives leveraged exposure with no account to open, no collateral to post and no margin to watch. Each is rebalanced by threshold, not on a fixed clock.
The loop
- People trade $QTR on Uniswap.
- Each trade pays a fee into the treasury.
- The holder share accumulates for one 15-minute epoch.
- At close, Arcus positions are minted at NAV and airdropped to every eligible wallet, in kind.
The same four steps run 96 times a day. The Payouts section on the home page lists every epoch that has closed.
The fee
Every trade of $QTR pays a fee into the treasury. It is taken out of the swap, never out of balances, and the rate is fixed in the contract. This is how it is used:
| Wedge | Rate | Goes to |
|---|---|---|
| Holder payout | 0.8% | Mints Arcus positions every epoch, sent to holders in kind, split by balance |
| Protocol | 0.2% | Gas for 96 airdrops a day, the crank, minting through Arcus |
| Total | 1% | Fixed in the contract, cannot be raised |
Same rate on buys and sells. Your token balance is never reduced; the fee comes out of the swap, not out of holdings. Payout figures on the home page are the holder share of each settled epoch's fee.
Epochs and minting
An epoch is 15 minutes. It closes only when the collected holder share covers settlement and the mint has been processed; if volume was too low, the fee rolls into the next epoch instead of paying dust. Snapshots of balances are taken at close. Buying after the close counts for the next epoch, not the current one.
Positions are minted at NAV, not bought on the secondary market. The mint is asynchronous: USDG is escrowed, accepted by the manager, deposited to the account, and the NAV at the moment of processing is signed by an oracle and verified on-chain before any tokens exist. Nothing is minted at a stale number.
The basket
Three positions, equal weight, one third each. More are added as Arcus ships them; weights stay equal.

Eligibility and payout
Minimum holding: 100,000 $QTR (0.01% of supply). Below that you still hold and trade; you just miss that epoch's distribution. Contracts, the liquidity pool and the treasury itself are excluded from the snapshot.
your_share = your_balance / eligible_supply
You receive your_share of each position minted that epoch. Nothing to claim; rewards are pushed on-chain. Gas for the airdrop is paid from the protocol share of the fee.

Questions people ask
- What if trading volume drops?
- Epochs get smaller. If the collected holder share does not cover settlement, the epoch does not close and the fee rolls into the next one. There is no fixed yield and nothing is promised.
- Can I sell the positions I receive?
- Yes. pBTC3x, pHOOD3x and pBTC are ordinary ERC-20 tokens on Robinhood Chain. Hold them, sell them, or redeem them through Arcus.
- Where do I see my payouts?
- In your wallet, as token balances, and on the explorer under your address. On this site, connect your wallet in the calculator to see your balance and eligibility.
- What is NAV and why does it matter?
- Net asset value is what a position is actually worth, before any market premium. The treasury mints at NAV, so every dollar of the holder share becomes a dollar of exposure. Buying the same tokens on the market usually costs more.
- Why a 100,000 $QTR minimum?
- Airdropping to thousands of dust wallets would burn more gas than it pays out. 100,000 is 0.01% of supply; below that you still hold and trade, you just miss the distribution.
- Do I have to claim or stake anything?
- No. Positions are pushed to your wallet by the treasury. Gas is paid from the protocol share of the fee.
- Is my $QTR balance ever reduced?
- No. The fee comes out of the swap, not from balances. The token contract has no function that moves your tokens.
- Can the fee be changed?
- No. The rate is fixed in the contract and cannot be raised. The split between holders and gas is published here and on X.
Risk
The positions are leveraged. Their value moves faster than the underlying market in both directions, carries hourly funding and the cost of rebalancing trades, and can go to zero in a sharp move. Rewards are distributed in kind; their value at receipt is not their value later.
Payouts depend on trading volume. Low volume means small epochs or epochs that roll over. Nothing here is a promise of yield.
